After emails and calls to see if I could change my sofa to a upright back, which i was willing to pay to have it changed instead of a scatter back, which is awful and uncomfortable, the worse thing I have ever sat on on, you may as well sit on a park bench. I was told at first yes of course this can be done , then to be told you don't make it anymore, I have just seen one apart from the studs on the arms exactly like the one I have on your website, Very dissatisfied with your service and will definitely not waste my money on your products ever again. Or recommend you company to anyone.
I am beyond angry with DFS Southampton Hedge End Retail Park. I ordered a sofa and specifically asked if it would fit through the main door. The staff assured me it would, as they would deliver it in parts. However, when the delivery team arrived, they refused to bring it into our lounge. To make matters worse, they kept 20% of the charge even though the sale didn't happen. This is absolutely outrageous and unacceptable service. The manager was incredibly rude and sarcastic, making the entire experience even more infuriating. I will never recommend dealing with these people. If I could give DFS a negative rating, I would. This is how they scam customers—by blatantly lying. Don't trust them, and save yourself the frustration. Avoid DFS at all costs.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the DFS store, and I must say, it was extraordinary experience from the start to finish. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by warm and friendly Mira who is one of staff member who make me feel instantly comfortable also she takes her time to help me find right sofa . I was very happy everything was sorted smoothly and in professional manner . I cannot recommend The DFS store highly enough . The exceptional staff and remarkable experience. Thank you all
The guy with glasses in the Southampton store didn't seem to want to help me at all with my order I made online. It was almost like he was going to get anything out of it and fobbed me off. He was forcing me to have a second delivery of the same order which clearly didn't fit my flat. When speaking to head office on the phone they sorted my issue, no problem and said the sales team in store could have helped me.
Great experience professional and friendly staff. Covid19 regulations maintained staff at the entrance providing sanitizers, masks and also checking if customers needed assistance. We were wearing our masks and distances well maintained throughout our shopping. We looked at the types recliners we wanted compared prices with other shops where we had been. Bought at best price from DFS. We can't wait for our delivery in 12 weeks. I highly recommend. Wide selection sofas for everybody. Wheelchair accessible entrance, blue badge disabled parking close to the shop.
If only their after sales was as good as their sales team! After 5 months I've still got a broken sofa the same as they delivered it. Paid for all the extra insurance and only once they got a 1 star review on TrustPilot amazingly I got 2 calls in 12 hours! Sadly still no help. Foot stool turned up ripped and now the soft close stopped working. Pictures attached. They won't even tell me what part of the sofa is broken!
What an experience! Went with my two sons to look at sofa beds. Was helped by man called Darren, he was so polite and helpful. Went above and beyond. My kids walked out of the shop saying how amazing their experience was, how Darren was so nice. A credit to DFS!
I purchased a sofa from your Southampton store on and upon delivery, I was disappointed to find that the sofa was damaged on both arms. I called DFS man line the following day to inquire about the issue and was told that someone from the store would call me back. However, I have yet to receive a call or any form of communication regarding the matter. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the product and the lack of customer service I received.
Went to go look at some sofas as our one is...well its had better days! Have a good idea what we want and this place has everything! Including what we believe is the new sofa? Extremely clean, tidy and well laid out, easy to manoeuvre around, wide open spaces, good prices and lots of different colours, patterns, and choices of fabric etc etc coming back very soon! 5 *
Order number 51D1L2457 Brand NEW 2 & 3 seater sofas delivered on 26/07/2023. Faulty HEADREST reported soon after . Engineer called on 30 OCTOBER 2023 & was informed it could take 3 MONTHS for parts to arrive & than repaired . Today on 20th MARCH 2024 , I am still awaiting repairs to my NEW sofas , 5 MONTHS later. NOBODY from DFS has a courtesy to keep me informed . Would NOT advise anyone to buy anything from DFS as after sales service is non existent !!! KEEP AWAY
