I advise not to buy from dfs, yes staff might be friendly but apart from that when it comes to getting repairs and to fix faults it becomes a whole new ball game... rude staff at the call centre and all they keep sayin, we can only chase.. you can't speak to a manager. They have no clue on the time frame it takes for them to resolve this. So you could be waiting for ever. Ask to speak to management, all we get in response is 72 hours. If you want to throw your money away ignore my post. Please do you research before you buy, as I'm not the only one in this situation.
Worst Experience ever! Avoid Got my sofa less than 3 years ago from here paid for upgraded leather to top leather they did advised by consultant i wouldn't have any problems. I have had someone out to paint the sofa 3 times already and now it looks like this again! don't use DFS and don't trust what they tell you as i did
Visited twice this week to place an order for a new sofa and both occasions was not offered any help or even got an acknowledgement. Poor
staff just couldn't care less - complete m@rons - obviously phoned in sick on customer training day !!
Jennie was lovely and very helpful. I was indecisive on colour but she was patient, lovely and helpful. Its is a great store to be fair. Just waiting for my new sofa :-
After paying a lot of money for safeguard which we were totally hard sold too , we have stains on our sofa and so far it’s taken 4 weeks and still they haven’t sorted out paperwork for us to file for a claim .That’s after two weeks we were told they were going to send someone out only to discover now we need to go direct to guardsman but we need original paperwork from DFS . Just how hard can emailing be ? God help us if they can’t remove the stain !!! Most of the staff don’t seem to have a clue what the hell there doing, only concerned in meeting sales target and extra commission with add on sales !!! Don’t fall for it ,after sales are shocking!!!! Let’s see how long there going to take now .
Ordered our sofas recently, so not commenting on them as not delivered yet, but wanted to say that myself and my husband were so impressed by Morgan, from Merry Hill branch.He was a very pleasant, friendly, helpful young man, was very knowledgeable, but not pushy in any way. Just a delightful young man who has made a lasting impression on us.DFS are lucky to have him and we hope he succeeds in his career, as yet just an apprentice. He really made our day, and made us realise how delightful young people can be.
Staff were very helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Plenty of room to move around.
Never again 13 weeks for a small double ottoman bed and still waiting no communication nothing
If I could rate lower I would. Absolutely terrible. If you want to purchase a sofa every year buy one from here
