A beautiful meal at Dexters Carmarthen! Great service in the cosiest restaurant, would highly recommend. I found this venue very good value for money! Couldn’t fault it.

We visited while on a motorcycle holiday passing through. The strength of the Google reviews looked good. We were blown away by the quality of the food and great service!nnFor around £35 each we had a 3 course meal better than many high end restaurants I’ve visited. You can tell the chef really cares about the food.nnLiver parfait was superb. The ribeye was delicious and glazed in a special secret recipe. The dessert was an equally delicious pana cotta with raspberry and lemon curd coulis.nnHighly recommended!
This is a true steak restaurant, through and through. I will be dreaming about that steak for months. The staff were brilliant, the location was really straightforward to get to. A reservation is essential as it was fully booked on a Wednesday evening, I even saw them turning people away who were walking in. Always worth checking I suppose but a reservation I would say is essential.nnBut did I mention the fillet steak? Cooked to perfection, such a wonderful flavour, I didn't want it to end. Plus with Mac'N'Cheese and prawns on the side...I'm considering a 200 mile drive back there just to go again.
Beautiful place with a cozy ambiance. Food was delicious! We ordered the 40 day dry aged sirloin steak with garlic, shallot and herb sauce and a sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The herb sauce was unbelievable Just wish the portion sizes of steak were a tad big bigger as the price is on the higher end. An honourable mention to the wonderful staff who were very friendly and mindful of my food allergies. Do recommend reserving in advance. Highly recommend this place for any special occasions or just to treat oneself. Will definitely be back here!
