Honestly one of the nicest meals I've ever had, we went for the Chateaubriand sharing platter with Dexters mac and cheese and Dauphinoise potatoes it was out of this world.nThe atmosphere is amazing we were there on a miserable Wednesday afternoon but inside felt like a cozy evening. I've taken photos but they don't do the food justice. I cannot emphasise how nice it is and I can't recommend it enough.
Visited this lovely place with my in laws this week and wow! Gorgeous, well thought out deco! They accommodated us very last minute. The service was great, drinks flowing but the food! Omg! Wow wow! We had 2 chateaubriands, both came with 2 lots of triple cooked fries, 2 sides and 2 sauces. My husband and I opted for the blue cheese butter and garlic and herb butter, with the carrot and parsnips in a maple sauce with walnuts and the creamed spinach, the in laws had the cream spinach and tenderstem broccoli in a sweet miso sauce with pomegranate and 2 different sauces can't remember the names as I was drinking! then I had the banana sticky toffee pudding and forced my husband to have the lemon pann cotta with rhubarb and granola so I could also try that! He then had a whiskey floater coffee, Mum had tia maria in hers and Dad had affogato which came with a massive portion of ice cream. Both the floater coffees came with a cute little chocolate truffle that tasted home made. The meal was absolutely delicious my first ever chateaubriand but the in laws regularly have this and even they said it was the best they'd ever had! 10/10! Would absolutely recommend and 100% will be returning when we're back in Wales! Our compliments to the chef!
A beautiful meal at Dexters Carmarthen! Great service in the cosiest restaurant, would highly recommend. I found this venue very good value for money! Couldn’t fault it.
We visited while on a motorcycle holiday passing through. The strength of the Google reviews looked good. We were blown away by the quality of the food and great service!nnFor around £35 each we had a 3 course meal better than many high end restaurants I’ve visited. You can tell the chef really cares about the food.nnLiver parfait was superb. The ribeye was delicious and glazed in a special secret recipe. The dessert was an equally delicious pana cotta with raspberry and lemon curd coulis.nnHighly recommended!
Amazing food and service. The best sunday dinner. Ive never had the a la carte but the sunday dinners are amazing and such a good price
