Not worth it if you want to rest during your stay in Edinburgh.nThe walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING, from the door on the main entrance to the elevator and your neighbors next door. This is very disruptive.nWater was leaking in the bathroom ceiling and hit you everytime you used the toilet.nThe floor in our bedroom has a stain that makes the room look very dirty.nI know this is not a hotel, but it does not reach the minimum expectations, which would be to be able to rest during your stay.nBetter to pay more and get better conditions and proper sleep.
Good quality student accommodation within easy reach of the heart of Edinburgh. Rooms have ensuite bathrooms, and each flat of four rooms has its own self-contained kitchen. There is a bus stop one minute walk and a tram stop only three minutes away. Edinburgh Waverley station is within a ten minute walk, and the tram runs direct to Edinburgh airport in a little over 30 minutes. There is a Starbucks, Tesco, and Sainsbury's all within a couple of minutes walk. Great place to atay when visiting Edinburgh on a budget. Would recommend.
The only road being blocked during moving day, very annoying. The room is nice and cozy. Hot in summer day, so bring your fan. Furniture's are very efficient especiallythe storage for suitcases under the bed is superb. Staffs go far and beyond. One staff was very kind allowing us to put daughter's suitcases the day before considering the construction and road blocked. Allowing us to go lightly on the moving day using public transport.
You shouldn't book this place, the mattresses are truly awful - so thin you can feel the springs inside - and prevent any kind of good sleep. As others have noted, there isn't much point in staying here if it fails the most basic task of providing adequate rest. The bad sleep prevents you from fully enjoying an incredible city, and it isnt worth the pretty marginal savings you can get relative to elsewhere.nStudents who live here during term time will tend to use toppers to make the mattresses bearable, on their own they just aren't fit to sleep on.
Not recommended. Bed mattress is so thin , there are stains on the bed cover. I understand that its a cheap accodamation but with the price they could renew covers. Plus side toilets are clean. But the doors doesnt lock well creates a sense of insecurity. Towels cost extra , you have to check out early at 10. I have stayed in student accomadations before but thisnone overall i don't recommend it.
