Fabulous art deco building recommended by a friend and with stunning views of sunset at the right time of day. As a previous reviewer has said, our server was Ellie and she was lovely friendly and courteous. Food was speedy, well cooked, great value for money and for a first time Harvester customer, I’d not hesitate to bring family back here again, especially as it welcomes dogs and there’s a fabulous beach to walk them right by it. Parking: Get there in good time before sunset or you’ll be battling the pub car park with people who aren’t at the restaurant but just there to see the sunset
Food very good when it eventually arrived after 50 minutes. Staff friendly but food wait was excessive. Thankfully a lovely view to enjoy from the terrace.Food: 5/5
Sunny day, by the beach expected it to be busy no issue there.... Ordered a meal together, my partners meal came in 30 mins not bad considering it was busy. No issues with my partners food at all.... My meal came 50 minutes later. Asked the staff a couple times, who said they would find out nothing came, so went in and found the staff we talked to, said they forgot to ask‍ Ordered on the app as one order but Apparently the order some how went through separately. Waited 1hr 20mins fur a chicken skewer which when came tasted like it had been sat round for that long.
Came here for my birthday meal and was served by Ellie. She was friendly, courteous and made our time there enjoyable. The meals provided there were varied and - as someone who is on a plant-based diet - there was plenty of options to choose from.Food: 5/5
Food was really nice, the fish was lovely. Service speed despite being a busy Friday evening was pretty quick and service by Ellie was friendly and excellent. Recommend, but if you like quiet atmosphere then perhaps go on a weekday daytime.Food: 5/5
Our waitress Alicia was so welcoming and polite. She made sure everything was perfect for us by double checking our order and coming over to check if the food was to a good standard. More over she double checked the bill was correct too. She even put up with mine and my friends giggles while ordering dessert so extra points to her!Food: 4/5
Impromptu breakfast date....have never been before. What a gem of a place....great service made very welcome....didn't catch the servers name but what a lovely guy! Had the ultimate breakfast x 2....great value for money coffee on tap and great views. Will definitely return and recommend to family and friends. Thanks derby pool for a lovely morning
I've been here previously and the service wasn't too good, but thought I'd give it another try. As usual the free salad starter was great. Had the beef burger for main and treacle sponge for dessert. They were quite fast getting the main meal out and the dessert was ready as soon as we ate the main. They've done very well overall, as the service is now fast and efficient and we were well looked after by the staff.
Great menu options with deals on 2/3 courses midweek. Rotisserie chicken and ribs are specialties, and of an excellent standard. Salad bar is a great idea though needs refilling more frequently as unattended kids tend to loiter like vultures! Service is welcoming, friendly, and patient.Food: 4/5
Good food at a good price. Free unlimited salad bar. Just refurbished with a more open and friendly layout. 17/1/2022 Getting back to normal but the server still has to fill your salad bowl. Great range on the menu and very helpful staff. Been back to Harvester a number of times recently and the food and service have been excellent, especially Diego who is always very attentive. Kid-friendliness: Very family orientated so great place to eat with the kids.
