After reading the bad reviews, I was petrified to use this service. Having been in severe pain for 4 days, I gave them a call. Initially didn’t qualify to be seen, but by the evening things were getting much worse but they were fully booked although the lady I spoke to was very reassuring and asked me to call back in the morning as I would be seen then. Called back Sunday morning to get seen in Canterbury straight away. welcomed at Canterbury by a third friendly guy. The dentist and her assistant were faultless and eased my pain and my fear. I cannot thank them enough. I’m now patched up ready to see my dentist next week.
Absolutely 100% disgusting. I haven’t even spoken to anyone but I’ve been on hold for nearly 2 hours trying to get through with excruciating pain and being told by the automated message my call will answered very shortly. Going by the terrible reviews of this place, I got off lightly. This place shouldn’t be in business particularly with the unprofessional and sarcastic comments the owner makes to its clients, it’s absolutely shocking. I will be reporting this company, the owner and the site to the dental ombudsmen and trading standards until they’re dealt with properly - something they don’t know how to do themselves.
I wouldnt of given any star if it wasn’t for the lovely helpful receptionist and the one on the call line. Even though they told me I needed lots of work done they said they couldn’t refer me as I had to be referred by a dentist that I don’t have. I got given antibiotics for a flare up of gum disease they told me. I was spoken to in a very abrupt and uncaring way with no empathy and thought about how people can be very nervous about dentists. I found the dentist quite rough in his treatment and the assistant was rough in a talking way. I actually feel sorry for people in a caring role with no care and empathy for others. Poor them!!!!
As I couldn't find an NHS dentist that would give me an appointment in my area, I went to dentaline for an emergency appointment, after an x-ray and being given antibiotics, I was told I need to be referred by another dentist to hospital for an extraction. I explained I couldn't get an NHS dentist to see me and she told me I should go private Whole reason I went there is because I simply cannot afford private and I'm eligible for NHS care. Don't understand why she couldn't refer me. I'll update this if I get any help with it or if I pull it myself. Dentaline dentist Mrs Julia Easton, couldn't figure out how to reply to owner so edited here instead
Went with horrific pain after trying all other avenues, been referred for mouth gaurd... still in pain, i was given a numbing injection that just numbed my lip, tooth is still in agony because iv ground away a filling, going to have to wait a week in agony untill i can see my dentist, can't take strong pain killers that cause drowsiness because im a carer in charge of meds, suction and tube feeding, it was a waste of both my time and the staffs time, the assistant was lovely but one nice individual doesn't mean im not in pain
Person i spoke on the phone was really friendly and helpful, got me a appointment with minimal fuss!
On hold for over 30 minutes then told that I did not meet there criteria although I have bad tooth pain and been taking painkillers for three days because of the pain I am in. Next time I think I will try the emergency vet instead I would be spoken to Better.
Absolutely rubbish service.. went through triage told them I am bleeding and in severe pain and can't sleep or eat was told I don't meet the criteria for out of hours treatment so now I goto to suffer until tuesday earliest avoid like the plague useless service
Been referred by nhs twice today 8:30am and 6pm have been calling them all day. Says busy! Nhs has sent them two referrals, my tooth got knocked out with the root still in. Cant eat or drink through the swelling yet they call them emergency service. Should get closed down and get a proper caring practise running.
111 gave me the number, Friday morning. Got an appointment close to my work fri afternoon. Unable to extract the tooth as the top broke off, got antibiotics and referred. Emailed Tuesday from referral, phoned had appointment same day. Great service
