Good value, fresh fish and chips. Scampi was delicious and highly recommended. Cod was tender and tasty but batter could have been crisper. Chips were also great. Quick to order and pick up despite being busy. Plenty benches overlooking Ullapool harbour if you want a seat with a view.
Really nice Cod and chips! Definitely recommend a visit if you're staying in the area. Great views of the harbour a few metres away. It is quite pricey but for the area it seems normal.
Lovely food and really diverse menu for a chip shop. Can highly recommend the salt and pepper squid. The fish supper was nice but the chips didn't have any salt and vinegar on it was all on the fish so weren't to my personal taste. A healthier person might appreciate them more!! The staff are very friendly and the takeaway is well organised.
Fantasticly fresh homemade seafood sandwiches and fish to takeaway with a friendly welcome from the tenant. Good moment facing the sea in this « end of the world » great spot city.
Excellent fish and chips, fresh fish well cooked, nicely presented in takeaway box, good size portions, one of our order was fish only no chips
Unfortunately the Haddock was very poor and a big disappointment to my wife . It’s not the money as everything has gone up in price , it’s simply the fresh quality you would expect from a sea side chippy that was lacking . 30 years we have been using this port to travel to Lewis and always look forward to our fish and chips in Ullapool.
Best Haddock and chips I have ever had and at 75 years old I have had a few!
Great scampi and calamari! Not at all chewy and tasted delicious. A lovely meal by the sea.
Lovely haddock and chips and great selection of other chippy staples, including tasty pies. All can be enjoyed on the benches and walls by the Loch right outside the door
Had really good steak pie and chips here! Scottish pie was also fairly delicious. The pies were both moist and well-seasoned, and the pastry was good and thick enough to actually hold. Chips were fresh, staff was quick and polite and even asked if we wanted any of our food salted. We visited on a Saturday at 1pm. I didn't see their hours posted, but they were open despite Google Maps saying they were closed.
