Deli Mamma

I called in on the off chance whilst waiting for friends and it was a fantastic find. Authentic atmosphere with a vibrant hubbub, the staff were lovely- the upstairs had closed and they went out of their way so that I could still get a draught beer! The food looked great, I only had a snack but it was super tasty. Really reasonable prices too, will definitely return!

Mum over for Christmas. Went to this spot that I regularly visit, love and enjoy. It wasn’t until, I showed her the experience of what is on offer, a wonderful variety of freshly made deli foods and breads, cakes, coffees and Gelato, that I realised I shouldn’t take what’s on my door-step for granted, as such a place like P & D Italian Deli needs to be complimented and highlighted. We had a selection of ‘Napoleon’, Arancini, and ‘Mozzarella’ delights, Americano & Latte coffees perfect flavour and strength with Macarons for 2, all for around £18. Simple Sublime with my Ma commenting that she felt she was no longer in Liverpool but swept in the aroma of Italy. Excellent job as always P&D keep up the great work

Delicious pizza, really lovely. The ice cream was good too, but the cheesecake was quite bland, so I didn't enjoy it. A very continental feeling venue. One star down for the stench of cigarettes that was coming in from outside, even though we were inside and not immediately next to the door.

A taste of Italy in Liverpool. Pricey but worthy. Diversity of delicatessen. Quick service, no fuss. Excellent location, next to theatres and stores. Recently expanded. The Italian manager/owner is always around I presume checking everything is running smoothly. I tried other local cafes but they all provide with overpriced and underquality products and services. P&D is the place to take your friends and foreign visitors after or in between shopping, after the theatre or when you need to be reminded of what good food is like.

Enjoyed the coffee at P and Ds for the past few years. The Opening of Hey Farina gives an extra dimension. Great food in a relaxed "drop-in" atmosphere. Brilliant!

Ordered a birthday cake for my dads 70th. My dad could not stop talking about it! Service was great and easy to order. price is fantastic for what you get, delivery was well worth the money to ensure it arrived safely as I ordered a medium but this cake was big and heavy. Decorated beautifully and tasted incredible. Would absolutely order from here again. Highly recommend this place :

Really busy Italian restaurant. Very well located. I only had a green tea, so I can't comment on the food.

Best italian coffee and desserts around, from gelato to cakes. This cafe has been here for years and has slowly expanded from a cafe, to include a restaurant and bar. Season treats like luxurious easter eggs and Christmas panettone can be bought here and are worth the at times expensiveprice tag if you want a taste of real Italian goods.
