Ordered 47 fish and chips for an event. Sharon and her team provided superb service in delivering on time and just what we ordered, and all 47 agreed the meal was just what fish and chips should be. Delicious.Food: 5/5
Collected 17 lots of fish and chips on Friday 27January for the over 60s tea room lunch. Although Sharon was not expecting such a large order and considering she was working alone she kept calm and served us with delicious fish and chips which were really enjoyed by all our customers. Would recommend.
Deep Blue was a very pleasant experience. The food was great and the service was second to none. Sharon was a great member of staff and she was cheerful and pleasant, a credit to the business.
Staff are so lovely and friendly! Food was great. We do click and collect every Friday night and everything was ready when it’s time for pick up.
Wow, I can't actually believe I just paid £6 for literally 6 tiny mouthfuls of salt & pepper squid! That is not a decent portion size.
Highly recommended this fabulous place,staff very friendly and the food was totally amazing.highly recommended the scampi and chips,popped in here while visiting friends in the area,will be definitely visiting again very soon.the staff are a total credit to you.keep up the good high standards.
Food was nice but disappointed with the service, when we got home we realised part of our order was missing we attempted to ring to inform them but unable to get through. When returning to the shop to resolve the it was felt though that we were not believe! The issue was resolve it made unpleasant experience and left the rest going cold at home.
I'm not sure the negative comments on here are all that fair, maybe more of an inconsistency on different days and lunch to dinner shift. But I came here for Sunday night, ordered a large cod and medium chips the peas I made myself, because who wants to pay almost £2 for mushy peas?! - Although it wasn't greasy as others have reviewed it to be, it definitely wasn't fresh because you can tell the fish is quite tough and doesn't quite fall off the fork. Nonetheless the batter was nice, not greasy at all. Was disappointed that it was 2 small cod's instead of one large and the chips aren't exactly a generous portion. I watched a heart attack amount of salt being poured over another customers which put me off, and would always want to do it myself. It was still nice and I enjoyed my dinner. Overall - service wasn't all that efficient considering it wasn't made to order. Slightly on the pricey side considering average taste.
Staff were excellent today. Speedy service. Very courteous and the food has been cooked very well indeed. Much improved on last visit.
