Food is very good, only cooked when you order. A good selection to choose from. Home made lobbies are very good. We've been quite a few times and always been happy with whatever we've chose. It's a very friendly place both with the family that run it and regular customers. Nothing is too much trouble for them, will definitely be a regular place for us to go.
Spent just over £9 on two ‘bin lids’ and a bacon barm... ordered bacon and mushroom on one of the bin lids. I rang to query the order as there were only two rashers of bacon on the bid lid - the same amount as was on the small bacon barm. I rang up and genuinely believed that it would have been an error and they would have apologised. Instead I was told that it was correct and that they buy quality bacon! I wasn’t questioning the quality - but the amount. The lady was rude on the telephone and couldn’t explain why I’d paid a lot more for the large barm compared to the small barm given that she had put the same amount of bacon on both. Won’t be going there again. Total rip off! Rudely she told me to bring it back and she’d give me my money back! Why should I be inconvenienced? Completely irrational and unreasonable service!
Really lovely little cafe. Some nice local regulars. I messed up all my trains trying to get to Southport and I wound up in Hindley after running around Manchester and then Bolton, on every change I never got a cafe or a shop, I arrived at Hindley and there's nothing there. But, a friend told me about Debs down the road and it was worth the ten minute walk. If you're ever stuck at the station for half an hour, take a walk down the road. It will be worth it. They should put a sign on the platform.
Very nice makes really nice breakfast barms well worth the price
