Rude staff. My husband went in to buy some items, gobby rough women who works there tried to make my husband pay at self check out, he refused, as he was paying cash. She then proceeded to pick up his items to move them to the self check out, he’s told her no. She said you can’t use the till as you’re not buying cigarettes or lottery, bearing in mind she didn’t know if he was buying cigarettes or lottery as she hadn’t asked. He dumped the items and walked off. Looking at the rest of the reviews I would highly suggest you train your staff asda
Went to asda today sunday at hindley,where do I start the staff where very helpful there was a member of staff called Jo what a great help she was she couldn't do enough for me,she is an asset to your company.thanks dean
Will not be using this store again. Staff on the till would not serve me unless I bought cigarettes or lottery. Told me I have to use self service till. Left my shopping at the till and won't be back. Update, store still hasn't improved. Staff still think they can fob you off with self service. Won't be coming back, plenty of other supermarkets to choose from.
Gone SO downhill this last year or so . Replaced all the best staff . No atmosphere, too expensive . Much dearer than a few other supermarkets . I actually laugh at how ridiculous the prices are compared to others . Be careful if you're rushing & always check your receipt. Unfortunately, sometimes you dont have time. They've charged me twice for items so many times either purposely or just not concentrating. Used to like it in here & spend a lot but now I only go if I absolutely have to because its nearer than others. Theres a few staff there now who are totally incompetent . Lots of staff changes since lockdown & not for the better. Needs a shake up & better leadership .
