This is my local. They are really nice, great customer service. A couple of years ago it was really awful, but the new management or whatever they changed has made it spectacular. I’m very happy with them now.
Good pharmacy on Easter Road. Staffs are kind, service is quick. You can make annappointment for covid test.
This chemist has way to many staff on at the same time falling over each other. This chemist does home deliveries available if needed..apart from that staff are kind enough & but not that helpful as I found out for myself .they need to do something asap about the amount of staff on
I booked and paid £65 for a hayfever injection, traveled specifically to the pharmacy for it. I arrived early and filled out the form and handed it in, waited about 15 minutes until my appointment time only to be told that it was against policy to give the injection to anyone who has a history of mental illness! I couldn't believe it! The person who explained it was nice enough but couldn't really give me a straight answer why this was the case aside from it being the 'policy'. If this was such an important 'policy' why wasn't this listed on the website or in the emails? I've had the injection before in another location and have never been told this. Hopefully I get a refund.
Unfortunately my prescription wasn't made up despite it being delivered to Dears a week before picking it up. I waited with no explanation for nearly half an hour. When they made up the prescription it was wrong. I was told it was my GPs issue and to ring them I couldn't it was late Friday I explained that my meds could be given in different dose levels circumventing the mistake, although this wasnt relayed to the pharmacist correctly. I waited again for an emegency dose. A very frustrating experience as both GP surgery and Pharmacy don't seem to communicate well, and there is little recourse. Other people were complaining in the shop about the same thing.
Handed prescription in on Tuesday, was told to pickup Thursday or Friday, went on Friday afternoon was it ready no , will have to wait till Monday, not the first time this has happened .
Probably the worst pharmacy in the entire Edinburgh, with the worst organisational skills. I've never had an easy service, everytime it's been difficult dealing with them. Decided to leave this review here as wont be returning to this horrendous service, often taking more than 30 mins to pick up meds. Left a complaint last week for the manager. Its clear no feedback was taken on board. I don't want to be involved with a service such as this.
Dears Pharmacy Easter Road Dears Pharmacy has sustained me over a year despite mobility issues delivering chronic pain medication even where their source of supply was not easily immediate. Thank you so much for this support.
3 hours of constant redial trying to get through by phone for emergency prescription. Shocking! With the amount of staff that is in the shop, surely 1 person could answer the phone.
I have only had good experiences with this pharmacy. I live locally & have used it on a number of occasions over the past few years. And since covid, they have delivered prescriptions to my door in a prompt, efficient manner. Then today when I needed to ring them & speak to someone about an issue, they were very kind, understanding & patient with me.
