W Dawson and Son (Dawsons Fuels) Ltd are an independent family run business based in Sedbergh, Cumbria, UK. The business was established in 1895 by William Dawson and is now run by two brothers, five generations later. We specialise in the sale of kiln dried logs, coal, smokeless fuels and biomass products as well as other outdoor supplies including compost and bark.

Great experience having used for the first time today. My expectations were exceeded throughout, from account set up to delivery. Nothing was too much. I have been using this company for a few years now and I have always found them to be very helpful and efficient, even to the extent of putting the pallet into the garage up a very steep drive. Great service indeed.

Have now bought my 3rd “lorry load” of kiln-dried oak. All three loads have been delivered promptly and cheerfully. As well the wood burns well, and is ALL oak - I’ve not found even one “stray” log. Excellent
