The school has improved majorly over the years and is being managed well, props to the staff for improving the school and children's attitudes to learning.
Year 11 student here its a rubbish school with buildings that have mould in them, the bathrooms are disgraceful with four cubicles that don’t lock properly out of the 15 cubicles accessible to all of the female students, don’t send your kids here if they struggle with mental health purposes as they will just most likely be ignored and told to go back to lesson
Went to an open day event during half term. Good even and a well looked after campus. Not much more one can say!
School is not as good as it used to be. Primary focus now is not learning but discipline. Not a healthy environment. Also a lot of substitute teachers so no continuity in learning
Update March 2024: School still has some very special teachers and staff, however in the last 12 months it has deteriorated. There is now a significant increase in bullying; the school is falling apart literally not just figuratively; many teachers have left, not all of them have been replaced, and much of my child's classes have been with supply teachers about 1/3!. The culture and attitude within the school has changed, and from our perspective, not for the better. I have now taken my child out of the school, and I am not the only one.nnExcellent school and easy to access to drop off or pick up my children as there is a special pull-in collection zone. Cannot rate this school highly enough.
