The bangers and mash were good. The service was excellent. However, the rest of the meal was mediocre. The mashed potatoes needed both salt and butter. The crab cakes lacked crab and the salad was only passable. The desserts were the best part of the meal. They were excellent. The wine was good. We probably will not be returning.
Nothing over exciting, but a good safe option. Service was slow, but food was tasty. I wouldn't be in a rush to head back over trying somewhere else.
Convenient and quiet but a bit pricey. Staff are good but service would be so much better with a smile
Decent enough average anonymous drinking establishment in the City by the Guildhall. Its pleasant with decent enough service. Focus in on wine and spirits. The ales and beer selection is very limited, so be warned if you want anything in that space. Toilets downstairs so be prepared for stair action.
OK to Good food but slow service for a business lunch
Its small cozy place to catch-up with friends ater work
The atmosphere is great but bar were people smoke at the doorsteps is not my favourite. The best space of the bar is outside sadly people who are allergic to smoking cannot enjoy it. Inside the bar is cosy and yes no smoking inside. The place can be busy!
There are a ton of pubs in the area. This is one of them. It's fine.
