Warm welcome, informed and fun service accompanying the authentic food. 4 of us all very much enjoyed our food. In fact, our vegetarian friend said "This is the best arrabbiata I have enjoyed in my 60yrs." The veal was superb, subtle flavours, light breading. The salmon piece as a main was large and done to perfection not overcooked as it often can be. The gluten free pasta penne portion was large and done very well. When in this neighborhood again, we'll return to try some of their other options. We sat upstairs, it's cozy, comfortable and the glass ceiling added to the ambience Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free and dairy free were easily accommodated.
Really lovely environment and staff. Everyone is very kind and patient. The way the calamari is made surpasses nearly all places that offer this on menu that I have been to. I would a hundred percent recommend to everyone!!Food: 5/5
The portion sizes are rather small and the value for money is low. The sea bass in the appetiser was sashimi and not very tasty. Fried calamari a total of five squid rings and 4 small fish. The pasta for the main course was tasty.Food: 3/5
The calamari and whitebait starter were satisfactory, but the breaded veal with potatoes lacked any standout flavors. Overall, the food was underwhelming - mediocre, nothing special. Considering the prices and quality, there are far better dining options nearby.Food: 2/5
Authentically Italian dining experience. 1 Good variety of Italian dishes 2 Service was prompt and attentive. There are some very good Italian waitresses and willing to engage with guests / we had an Italian amongst us 3 Location is great and in Central London 4 Price is higher than normal so value is a bit on the lesser side 5 Food was tasty although my main dish was a bit salty - the appetizers were good and main dishes had veggie options - although the pasta was a bit too “al dente” for me. Overall a good option for business lunch if you are in the area Vegetarian options: Good options for vegetarians
I always enjoyed the food here! I had the homemade pasta with prawn, mussels, clams, etc.. The taste and texture of the pasta and sauce were amazing and the seafood was really fresh! My fiance had a medium rare steak which was cooked to perfection! The calamari and whitebait tempura were really tasty too. Shame I couldn't have dessert because I was already full! Would definitely come back again. Staff are nice. Facilities are clean.
The pasta here brought me back to Rome. The dishes had not been over-commercialized, and the chef said the sauce was from hours of slow cooking. My partner enjoyed their weekly special, tomato sauce with octopus over pasta. Not too greasy or oily, but still satisfyingly tasty. The appetizer needs some improvement, however.
The restaurant was crowded even if it was weekday and daytime. Regardless of such situations, staffs were friendly and their service was exceptional. And of course food was delicious. The price is a little expensive but taste is worth the price!
A favourite of ours! The best Italian restaurant in London in an amazing location. Super authentic, cosy feeling with lovely service and wonderful chefs. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available on request.
Only drawback, maybe food needed to come out slightly quicker. But then again they were busy. Staff excellent, food amazing and the top floor has such an amazing setting!! Definitely going back again :
