David Lloyd sites appear to be receiving a fair bit of criticism recently. So as a regular visitor to this site I have to say it is excellent. From the minute you walk into reception the staff are both professional and welcoming. The facilities and cleaned and maintained to a good standard. The club membership is not oversubscribed, and the club members themselves make for a friendly relaxed atmosphere.
I’ve been a member of David Lloyd, Meridian for a few years now. I attend regularly and really enjoy it. The club is always clean and presentable and I have attended many of the classes which are fun and always of a high standard. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I’d like to give a shout out tonSam - for her excellent customer service, she is always friendly and helpful and Natalie who has worked at the club for many years, Natalie greets you with a smile and your first name and is always friendly and approachable. Natalie consistently has a positive and upbeat attitude and goes above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service. She really is an asset to the club and thoroughly deserves the recognition. Thank you

Enjoying life at a health club rather than just a gym!nReally like the swimming pool, the jacuzzi and steam room and sauna are welcome treat after a work out.nGym can get busy during peak hours, classes can book up early so be quick!nThe food- wow! My husband and I moved to Lubbesthorpe months ago. I was looking for a place to swim, then I discovered David Lloyd. I subscribed to their mailing list. Recently I received their email that offered me a free 1-day pass. I applied for one, and my husband could come along.nnJosh contacted me and reserved two 1-day passes for us. He showed us around, introduced the facilities and explained three different memberships to us.nnThe only thing I needed to consider was the water temperature of the swimming pool. I could try it before I decided to join David Lloyd or not. The water temperature was not very warm, but fortunately it was not cold, and we could enjoy the jacuzzi as well.nnJosh contacted me after we had used the 1-day pass. He is always friendly and helpful. He answered our questions in a succinct way so that we could get more useful information to decide whether David Lloyd would be suitable for us.nnWe had a good time and decided to join David Lloyd. Thanks Josh very much for all the practical information he gave us. It turns out that a lot of fitness classes are available apart from just swimming there. The membership fee is worth it as long as I am not too lazy. I am sure this club will make me healthier.
I had the pleasure of meeting Josh, the sales consultant at David Lloyd Gym, and I can honestly say it was a fantastic experience. He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the entire process. Josh took the time to show me around the gym and explain all the facilities, making sure I felt comfortable and well-informed. His humble and polite demeanour made me feel right at home. Thanks to Josh, I decided to join the gym, and I’m really looking forward to starting my fitness journey here. Highly recommend his services to anyone looking to join!
