Had a spa day here with a friend for her birthday. Great facility, indoor warm pools, adults only outside pool with therapy jets, steam rooms, large sauna, cold plunge pool, jacuzzi, relation areas, hot beds, etc. Helpful staff. I had a great treatment, and a very nice lunch too
David Lloyd falsely advertises it's 14 day pass membership by showing a child jumping into an outdoor pool. You would therefore assume that you would have access to the pool. I tried to cancel my membership after 4 hours of booking it and they refused to give my money back. They are only interested in getting your money. I would expect better customer service from what I thought was a reputable gym!
I had one of the most stressful day in my life in here! I’d never recommend this club to anyone. All facilities are nice but mostly not clean! Staff attitude is definitely a deal breaker. I wouldn’t pay £179 per month for people being rude to me! Sorry but would not use David Lloyd again!
One of the cleanest David Lloyd Gyms I have visited. The pool was very very clean. Will definitely visit again!

Terrible customer service, been a member for nearly a year, have tried to cancel due to problems at home, wouldn’t let me have requested a phone call over 5 times through my app have not had a single call to make changes to my membership as paying £180 a month for something I cannot use any longer, they wouldn’t let me cancel or reduce my membership, gyms all jam packed unless you go at 9.30 at night, Iv clearly stated I’m unhappy with the membership and have just been ignored. £2160 for a year! And couldn’t even get a little help when needed! And in the summer time all you can smell is sewage so you wouldn’t want to use the outdoor facility anyway due to sewers being across the road. There’s plenty more I could complain about, Save your money and go elsewhere! Would not recommend at all.
Not worth the huge amount of money they charge. It’s nice. Gym and spa is nice but again, not worth that amount of money. Changing facilities and showers are poor and that of a £20pm gym.
As a family member of the flagship site the club could focus more on customer service and experience. Numerous fails in terms of customer account management and frankly the sheer number of visitors can mean the club is super busy contributing to increased wait times everywhere.
After having a bad experience with my partner here a month ago we decided to give it another try and signed up for the 14 day trial. What an abysmal and terrible experience this was. In this trial it was not advertised that the spa was not included,. In fact, it was advertised to seem like it WAS included as there was a big picture of the spa on the advertisement.. the spa was one of the main reasons we decided to give this place another try in the first place. After being told we could not use the spa by a moody receptionist in a very abrupt manner we headed to the indoor pool. We got changed into our swimming clothes only to find out whilst we were IN the indoor pool that it was actually closed and we had to leave. The final straw for me and my partner was the food. We both ordered 'smashed avocado on toast', the toast was burnt to a crisp, the poached eggs were hard and it was advertised as 'smashed' avocado. This was anything but - just a few cut up pieces of avocado sprinkled on top, not reasonably priced either. We have given this place 2 chances now and we will never ever be returning to the David Lloyd Farnham. It is disorganised, to the point where as soon as you step foot in the door you automatically feel frustrated at how disorganised it is. We've had a much better and pleasant experience at Nuffield health just down the road. This establishment should be ashamed of itself and how it is currently running.
