There's such a nice atmosphere at David Lloyd, really happy I joined. It's nice to go somewhere and be able to go to the gym or do a class, and then sit down and have a nice lunch or dinner afterwards too. I'd also say definitely do a Synrgy class if you are thinking of joining, they are brilliant! They also do member events every now and then so it's great to get to know people. Definitely recommend.

This place is too busy at all times!!! There is no limit on the number of members joining.

This results in not being able to find a parking space easily and there is no space in changing room. It is absolutely crammed...

I have spoken to many members, and whoever I spoken to, share the same discomfort experience!

Staff are nice and friendly but so much pressure on them to do their job as it is a overcrowded workplace/club.

A big plus for all the services and equipments offered which is not to take lightly - however the reason why I will not review it higher is due to the pricing. It is simply way too high and I can only say that it would be worth if you are going almost every single day.

I absolutely love being a member of David Lloyd. I was unsure about joining to begin with due to the cost but it's the best money I've ever spent. It isn't just a gym... there is so much more and I actually look forward to going. 
The Colchester staff are always so helpful and friendly and clearly enjoy working there, which rubs off on us when we are there. 

I signed up with Josh and I was so impressed with his manner he wasn't pushy, clearly lived his job and just wants members to enjoy the experience too. He is a real asset to the club. 

I would recommend this club to anyone!!

Too expensive for what it offers.  Patrons can be a bit snobbish IMO.  Over-subscribed, especially for tennis club sessions.  Children are a nuisance most of the time.
