Story

Established in 1982, David Devan Optometrists have been a fixture on Whetstone High Road for over thirty years. We pride ourselves in building long-term relationships with our patients, ensuring they enjoy trouble-free vision and the latest in spectacle design and lens technology.

Since our inception we have seen over thirty thousand patients, all of whom have benefited from our individual approach to healthy eyes and optimum vision. We don’t rush your eye test and always make sure you feel comfortable and well-informed at every stage of the examination.

Our in-depth clinical knowledge separates us from the average High Street Opticians. GP’s and Hospitals in the area recognise this fact and have contracted us to manage their glaucoma and cataract patients.

We have an extensive network of consultants that we refer to when necessary, tailoring each individual case so you receive the best possible care.

We also consult for the DVLA and can offer numerous ancillary services such as hearing care, low-vision aids and orthoptics as well as home visits for patients unable to travel.
