The building Its self is beautiful and it has a free carpark. Unfortunately the actual market needs some work. Lots of stalls empty. Not a very good variety. I didn't buy a single thing when i visited and not likely to go in again
Still some really good stalls in here, but looking a bit sparse nowadays. Real strength is in stalls that have goods/services that the supermarkets don't.
Great little market with just about everything you need. Butchers, greengrocers, cheese stall. Great jewellers who mended a precious ring for me and 2 watches for my husband. Great service and very reasonable. And if you need any clothes altering, you must visit Jackie, who is a whizz with the sewing machine. Two great cafe's outside to get a lovely coffee and a yummy piece of cake. Well worth a visit.
Lovely little market Lovely people love going
I am disappointed with this place. On Good Friday, when working people have time off and could do some shopping, the market hall is closed. I really liked shopping at the stand with vegetables and fruits, but for a few years the owners have come up with the idea that customers cannot have access to their products and have separated themselves from people with tables. In every grocery store you can choose your own carrots, cabbage or apples, but in the market hall it is the opposite. If sellers from this market hall will have such an approach to the customer, their income will not increase. Well, the market hall is closed today, you have to go to Tesco and let them earn money.
Lovely place but the day we visited only some of the stalls were open
Nice small market. Trouble Blackburn council want to develop it which would totally spoil it. They have already taken away the out door market. We get one of these Artisan markets which is just over priced.
Lovely little market, everyone so friendly, everything you need
Very nice and welcoming people. A great market x with plenty of stalls and lots of different variety of businesses the butchers and Maggies food hub, aswell as the cafe are amazing are very nice people so come on down, we also have a new auction shop and a new kids play area x we need more amazing businesses let's make the town thrive. X
