You don't have to be a specialist in good gardening,...atmosphere,..whoever is behind the scenes keeping this park like this deserves a holiday, ...it seems to me they have it in mind the way they keep their park...A BIG BIG THANKYOU FROM ME,... and I put money on it , not just me thinks it,...if people knew about it...might spoil it for me!!!
Great park with stunning waterfalls. In a mile circular walk you see a variety of different waterfalls, plus a few other features including a disused weather station, standing stone, and war memorial. Waterfalls are truly well worth seeing. Bit hilly, but decent paths. There's plenty of street parking outside the park, and a kids playground too. Lovely pond to walk round too.
A lovely park! Visited to get out of the house and a bit of fresh air and wasn’t disappointed. Very scenic and plenty of paths to take you all sorts of routes.nnI will say it’s not very suitable for anyone with any kind of mobility issue as there’s a lot of steep steps, hills and it can be quite muddy.nnWould like to return to walk all the way to the tower!
Really nice park but lack of signage and public toilets means I can't give it 5 stars. It has some beautiful little walks and appears to be split in two as I noticed a second area accessible across the road as we were leaving. Worth a visit
