Dartmoor View Holiday Park

Lovely static with walk around veranda and hot tub. Very comfortable beds, good kitchen and vast living room. Very friendly staff and very responsive to requests. There is also an out door heated swimming pool and outdoor activities. The only negative was the lack of lighting to the stairs that accessed the entrance. The porch light is at the back of the veranda by the hot tub. I'm disabled with limited vision. Lighting by the stairs would have made it a 5 star experience.

Had a lovely Easter weekend. A beautiful site surrounded by trees, very quiet and clean but just what our family needed to relax and refresh. The caravan was really clean, and the hot tub was amazing and enjoyed by us all. Had some lovely days out from here, a bit of a drive to attractions but enjoyed the views along the way, would highly recommend

Stayed in static caravan for Christmas! First time away over Christmas so a little worried. Lovely caravan- very spacious. Had everything we needed. Key operation a bit of a pain - via app? Give me a key anytime! Okehampton was lovely. Decorations were stunning. Site was great. Memorable Christmas would definitely do again. Thoroughly recommend

We found a great deal for the week. Our caravan was a lower budget one, only criticism was the comfort of the bed and the seating in the living room space, otherwise the shower was great, toilet in a separate room, smart TV with access to Netflix etc. WiFi included not an added extra. Access to the caravan was through an app and contactless tech with your phone which meant we didn't risk losing keys and didn't have to sign into a reception. The caravan also had a hot tub and was well maintained and cared for with regular checks from staff on site. Lawns all well kept, very tidy and dog friendly with a swimming pool at certain times of the year. The site was quiet. Nearby activities: National trust sites like Castle Drogo and Lydford Gorge highly recommended. Also, near Dartmoor National Park with lots to do. Safety: One way system with site speed limits. Evening lighting in most walking areas. Noteworthy details: The pool opens from May time, and looked like the site was making a real effort to upgrade with new caravan offers, quite a few empty plots and got the gravel ready to resurface.

Fabulous, easy access to Dartmoor National Park. Quiet peaceful park with great views. Lovely helpful staff. Super pub just down the road, The Post Inn. Lodges are great, the one we had was stunning, so comfy, home from home, hot tub amazing. A newer lodge overlooking a green area and trees, sleeps 6, so beautiful. Very cosy in the evening with nice hot showers after the hot tub. Lots of games are provided to play. Definitely coming back

Glass on the deck by the hot tub. Went to reception to let them know, no-one on reception when there should be. Staff member I spoke to didn't care. Booked a caravan supposedly for 6. Wouldn't even comfortably house 4 and there were 5 of us staying. Felt very misled by the photos, wouldn't have booked otherwise! Avoid and spend your money at another site!!!

This holiday park is located at really nice green place with lovely views and healthy environment. Caravan was small but comfortable. All kitchen appliances were there and ready to be used. Heating system was not really powerful, from my point of view, but enough to keep warm inside. There is a swimming pool on site, nice for sunny days. Unfortunately no shop at site but there nearby 15min maybe by walk, 3min by car is petrol station, Morrisons, cafe. In general, I liked this place and would recommend it.

Had a lovely weekend stay here in one of the pods. They’re equipped with everything you need to be comfortable; en-suite bathroom, small stove, sofa, TV etc and your own personal hot tub just outside. The location is great for taking in local attractions of which there are many just a short trip away. Perfect for a couples get away, you can even take the dog like we did!

Caravan was nice basic for what you need. Hot-tub was great. However what let this down was the building work going on and the noise that made. Also the lack of privacy the site map made it look like the caravans were alternating facing with more privacy around the hot tubs. Enjoyed our break but could of been betterRooms: 4/5
