Went to Darlings of Chelsea because of all the good online reviews, and they proved to be worthy. Ordered an italian leather sofa, and I am extremely happy with the sofa. We even had a couple of bumps on the road not their fault, but sofa had to be delivered through window, and there was a sofa leg with defect, and throughout the whole process they were 100% spot on keeping in contact and making sure everything got resolved as soon as possible. A real 5-star service.
Great place, loads of ideas and lots of amazing sofas.
Just bought our second sofa from Darlings of Chelsea, which I think says a lot. The first one is a lovely cream leather corner sofa and is now about 8 years old and looks as good as new. We have just purchased a beautiful velvet sofa and it is gorgeous, very well made and as one friend described it is just sumptuous! We did look around at other stores just to see what else was around but came back to Darlings, there really is no comparison they are head and shoulders above anyone else, not the cheapest but then good things aren't cheap and if you get years and years out of something then it becomes very good value. Staff are all very helpful and knowledgeable, delivery guys were excellent too.
Great selection of good quality sofas.
We were recommended Darlings through a friend when we needed a new sofa as they’d previously bought from them. Spoke to the staff there who were very helpful and quickly narrowed down our choices to what we were looking for. Got some leather samples sent out, delivered super quick then got the order in. Super simple. Our version needed to be made and communication was quick and clear. We needed the sofa delivered to the first floor check measurements first and the delivery guys sorted it all out. Even made an out of hours delivery to suit us. Put it together and now have bums on very comfortable seats. Happy days! Highly recommended!
I have purchased two sofas in the last few months, and recommended my son to buy one too. The choice was excellent, the price reasonable and delivered as arranged. It helped having a local showroom to try them out good selection there and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Lovely product, beautiful website. Unfortunately if something goes wrong as it did with me, customer service is severely lacking. I am a key worker living in a standard terraced house so buying this sofa bed represented a substantial investment for me. To cut a long and boring story short, the item was delivered late after 13 weeks, it was built right instead of left handed, damage was done to skirting boards, bannisters and a door on delivery, I waited weeks for the replacement, more damage was done on redelivery and it also had a big grease stain on the beige upholstery. Customer service were not at all proactive and extremely slow to reply to my ever more desperate emails. Darlings have paid me some money in recompense but this will not cover the cost of repairs. My advice would be be prepared for a long and drawn out battle if anyting goes wrong. Also do not pay in full, use their credit facilities. I did not do this becuase I don't like being in debt but wish I had. I have not been given a proper explanation for all of this and no gesture of goodwill was offered for the huge upheaval in our household of having to store furniture and pictures while waiting for this to be sorted out. I bought the sofabed on the 30th June 2020, the case was closed on 21st January, some 6 months later. No, I would not recommend Darlings of Chelsea.
Exceptional service from start to finish. My transaction took place over via their website as I am a customer in Ireland. From the very beginning Natalie made it so easy for me to deal with her. By shopping with Darlings I have saved €1500 on an identical sofa here in Ireland. I would highly recommend Darlings and would certainly purchase from them again.
Recently purchased a Darling Of Chelsea sofa as a gift for my son for his new home. He tells me it his favourite item in the house. From spending weekends at his house I can confirm not only does it look amazing it is extremely comfortable to sit on, the issue is you don't want to get off of it! I must add the service received through out the purchase process was fantastic from DOC. May have to get one myself now!
Very pleased with the service we received from Darlings of Chelsea. They were helpful when I was arranging the pick up of one sofa direct from their showroom , and the delivery of the second sofa was very efficient. The sofas are of a high quality and would recommend the company to friends.
