Not impressed with this place we visited at Christmas for our works night out meals ordered in advance.on arrival we were told the heating wasn't working we sat in our coats all evening and the meal wasn't brilliant we weren't even offered a complimentary drink for the inconvenience. We thought we'd give it another try on Saturday night when 28 of us turned up on a hen night booked in advance only to find a lot of the drinks or tap weren't available and the buffet what cost us £140 was basic and not appealing hence the reason half of it was left at the end of the night oh and no entertainment because of cut backs which we weren't told about at the time of booking needless to say we won't be visiting that place again absolutely appalling.

As Hull City were playing Chelsea in the FA Cup, the place was electric but very noisy. However, the food and beer were good. Also, the service was quicker than we were warned. Well done!

it is with disgust I write this review. We booked our hen night well in advance for last night. There was no coke or lemonade due to break down in machinery. no entertainment on even though we where told there was. According to management the budget has been cut. Hot glasses served with cold bottled beer. No imagination put into the buffet. The vegetarian plate which was served separate was just a plate of sandwiches. It was a good job we had taken our own games for the entertainment. Why rhe managers could not go buy some mixers crom the local shop is beyond us. The company of ourselves was excellent. More than could said for your establishment

Love this pub, great food, reasonably priced drinks. They show sports when it's on. They also have a family area with booth seating, each with a separate little TV showing kids shows, or sport (can probably request the channelling changing). Huge pub inside, and has a sizeable beer garden for when that day of good weather hits the town.
