This is by far the best coffee in Stockwell , Great service guaranteed on every visit...
Excellent coffee first and foremost. Love having a dog bowl out to - we all need morning juice. Service is great, made to feel like a friend more than just a customer. Best cup of coffee in the area, worth a little extra walk.
Moved to QP from Melbourne and very happy to have stumbled upon excellent consistent coffee. Busy at times but happy to wait and listen to the daily mix of music and conversation. Each time I visit my day gets that little bit better.
They have the best coffee in QP. This is a shame it is served in a flat white cup given the price. They actually also sell the beans if you want to make it at home. Just a few tables outside, none inside which is odd as there is a lot of space but it is used to display wines.Food: 5/5
I’ve given this place a few tries, hoping it would be better the next time. Each time the staff have been incredibly rude and patronising to customers. Today the person in front asked for a vanilla latte. The sever smirked at her and belittled her in front of a long queue and preceded to lecture her on syrup in coffee. She laughed along but you could tell this was an awkward, nervous laugh and that she was actually upset. After she left, the baristas kept laughing about it and slagging off this customer. I could hear all of this and it was deeply unprofessional. There’s nothing wrong in simply saying “ah I’m sorry, we don’t do syrup”. There’s no need to lecture and belittle someone. Another time I went there someone ordered a mocha. The same thing happened. There is a horrible atmosphere there, so incredibly unwelcoming, patronising and arrogant staff and tbh not even good coffee. By the looks of it, many people feel the same way but nothing has changed. I won’t be coming again and I wouldn’t bother going. There’s a very high chance they will ruin your day.
Great coffee for take away with a friendly and welcoming barista :
Great coffee -one of the best in London. I prefer it’s taste over Costa and Gail’s. You should also try the sweets they have - I love the banana & chocolate bread but also the others are delicious. It’s a pity they don’t have cappuccino, but a latte is a good replacement. The staff is very nice, always welcoming and helpful. I always had a pleasant experience. Note that the coffee is for takeaway, there are no tables but you can sit outside on the beach or go to Queen’s Park.
Very pricey for a tiny coffee. The service was decent, my friend was told iced mochas didn't exist not that she had gotten one everyday at other places. But the coffee was really bitter and a bit grainy. Maybe came on a bad day for them, who knows
I have been coming here for years for the excellent coffee but unfortunately I’m just fed up with the unwelcoming atmosphere. I would love to continue supporting a local business like this but I have decided not to return. The last straw was being totally blanked not the first time when I said good morning. Sorry guys, I would like to see friendly faces when I drink my coffee.
Coffee was fine but the guy working there was incredibly rude. I asked for an iced latte and he made a face at me. I then asked for a sugar in the coffee and he butted in and said “I hadn’t finished speaking.” My friend ordered a cortado and he stared blankly because he couldn’t hear when the grinder was on, but didn’t say that just stared. All in all pretty rude guy considering that coffee shops usually pride themselves on being friendly with customers. Won’t be going back.
Amongst the best coffee I’ve had in London and friendly service.
