So it’s a cafe where you eat drink and play real board games! Incredible unique place with friendly staff. Recommend to book in advance as it does get busy. Atmosphere is brilliant staff are brilliant! The cost is reasonable £1.50 per hour person. Lots of vegan and veggie options but you get Crisps as sides not chips (this will cost extra) food is nice tho.

Really like this board game based cafe. So very many games to choose from you could play a different game every day for a year and still have some left to try. Purchase prices are also really good, the staff are awesome and really passionate. Finally the food and drink is not only reasonably priced but really really good quality. Great for family and friends alike. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Cozy space, friendly staff, and most of all - open late. One of the only place open late in Watford if you’re looking for somewhere to hang out that isn’t a noisy pub. They have a wide selection of food and drinks to offer. I had a coffee that was nothing special, but the food was quite good and wasn’t too expensive. Amazing place for board game enthusiasts and beginners alike. With a stock of hundreds of board games, the staff was super helpful with picking out a few board games to suite a newcomer. They even set up the game and ran us through the rules. Keep in mind there is a cover charge to use the board games. Even if you aren’t looking to play a board game, you are still more than welcome.

The best board game cafe in the world. Staff are amazing. Food outstanding, with vegan, vegetarian and omnivorous options. Perfect custom built tables for gaming and eating. Regular themed nights. Almost 1000 games. What more do you want?

Can't believe I didn't go here sooner! Very friendly, informal and cosy, but still a decent amount of space. So good for small groups or larger. Great selection of tasty, reasonably priced food (with veggies and vegans very well catered for), and a snack section, AND beer and wine! It's got it all. Not to mention the board games - everything from basic staples like Trivial Pursuit to the meatier 'enthusiast' board games like Dead of Winter (plus expansion). Can't recommend highly enough.
