Rachel conducted the funeral for my step dad last week, she was so kind and thoughtful throughout. Nothing was too much trouble from the beautiful order of service with so many personal touches, through to the magnificent floral arrangement she obtained for us. It was also a really lovely touch to have the memory box given to us after the service with the pictures of him she had printed and extra orders of service to keep or pass on to people who had been unable to attend. Both he and my whole family were treated with dignity and compassion throughout and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Would highly recommend Rachel Anderton at Hollowells Funeral Services. From start to finish she was extremely professional and helped us every step of the way at a very emotional and upsetting time. She handled every detail excellently and was very easy to talk to and understood our needs. Can’t thank her enough.
This is my first experience of having to organise a funeral and my experience with Hollowell’s and Kyle King who was our dedicated funeral director was excellent. He was very respectful, attentive and empathetic from the initial meeting, throughout all the organisation and to the the very dignified funeral service itself. It was very comforting for me, family and friends. Kyle guided us throughout and offered lots of options on the funeral being the best send off tailored to our wishes. In addition, there were lots of nice touches like the order of service, photographs, memory box and additional contact after the funeral itself. I would highly recommend Hollowell’s and Kyle.
My partner recently passed away, D, Hollowell and sons, Dealt with the funeral arrangements, The staff were kind courteous and Respectful, They done a excellent job on such a sad occasion, I just want to say a big thank you to Jon one of the directors, who went beyond his job role. b/w Colm.
Rachel dealt with my mothers funeral and turned up 11 minutes late my mum was a stickler for time!. Wrong song was played at the crematorium?! Song was played entirely in Italian! She off loaded extra order of service ,the memory box and photos outside after the service as I had won a raffle. I felt it was insensitive as I was overcome at the time. There has been no aftercare or contact since the funeral. Money taken they are no longer interested! Issues raised and firm still unable to give human contact A very different experience when I dealt with David Hollowell in the past! Will no longer be recommending them in the future very sad!
Rachel did the funeral of my grandfather. She conducted with such compassion. Nothing seemed to much for her, and went above and beyond. She is a credit to you.
My sister passed away recently leaving me as next of kin, and I'm 3 hours away. Hollowells did a fantastic job, keeping me informed every step of the way. Professional, respectful and courteous are the words I would choose to describe the service I received. Thank you.

After a short illness, my father-in-law passed away in June. We spoke to Hollowells and immediately felt at ease as we were taken through the steps we needed to take. Jack was our director and dealt with everything professionally and with compassion. On the day, the cars were amazing, the flowers stunning and the whole team went above and beyond to ensure our guests were looked after. Amazing from start to finish.
Super, caring and sincere in everything covered from start to finish..I would highly recommend this company. Nothing was too much trouble. My mothers funeral was the best which could be. I would highly recommend the Funeral Celebrant Mr David Thomas which was arranged through Hollowells. Thank you D. Hollowell & Sons.
