Firstly went to go to the museum closed torensial rain why King Charles and camila coming to visit his birthday had no clue. Well organised lovely unfortunately 1.5hours in the rain was testing for everyone. King was pleasent I had the honour to talk and meet him.. Public toilets need addressing needs closer to the castle. Unfortunately I can't comment on the museum hence the the no 5star but will do that again. Staff otganisers were friendly, love merthyr and its amazing History.nPictures will show the event would I recommend a vist oh yes the park is worth it.. Bar the weather we did it 24 hours rain a month load I don't think I will ever forget it. Cyfartha Castle has the official History.. Go visit it..
Great place to visit. Came here yesterday. The castle is placed on a hill, with views over looking the park and lake that is just below the castle, as well as a great view of Mythyr Tydfil.nnThe castle experience itself isnt the biggest we've seen, but at the time of writing it was £3.50 each person adult ticket so that was fair enough.nnThe information they provide as well as details in the rooms is a great sight to behold. They detail such events, such as locomotives, mines, the start some appliances, etc.nnThe experience follows a one way experience, and before you go down to the museum, there is a cafe.nnThere's also acitivies to do there, some leaflets were being handed out to families that had kids.nnI would recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice explore with a lovely view.
Interesting day out. Museum is well done but stairs are steep. Surprising artefacts such as Egyptian treasures. All staff were lovely and helpful. Ate at cafe and took a ride on miniature train. Large lake to walk around too. Parking free. Train £2 each. Museum £3.50 each.
Plenty of space and a nice walk. Museum was closed but would return. Dog loved it.
We chose this amazing venue for our wedding day and it didn't disappoint. Even if it's raining you will have amazing photos as the whole museum is open to use if your booked in.nFrom the moment we booked and throughout the wedding the staff were absolutely amazing and couldn't do enough to help. So glad we chose to get married there. Thank you so much for making our day so special and being so helpful.
