Mike is an absolute legend!  Cycle Tech Herts. provided logistical and mechanical support for a whole long weekend in our attempt to raise money for Sports Relief.  His experience and knowledge of cycle events in terms of what was required to support our riders was second to none and we simply wouldn't of been able to complete the event without this support. I think Mike installs tiny but incredibly powerful engines into bikes that he services ... I power past Porsches on my way back up Charmouth Rd ... well at least in my mind ... and at least for the first 3 months or so after servicing.  

For those who gave up cycling because it seemed so darned hard, perhaps think again 'wheel yer bike to Mike' in the station courtyard and you may never have to wait in the taxi queue again.  Instead you will be sprint-finishing home, the Rio Velodrome in your head and Viviani stuck at the Sandpit Lane roundabout far behind.  [email protected]

Amazed that Mike had a rear derailleur hanger for my Cannondale, 67Km into the Hillbuster Sportive. New hanger, and derailleur fitted and I was back on my way. Bearing in mind I was a captive audience the rates charged were competitive compared with my LBS, so Well done Mike and Cycle Tech

I had my bike serviced in May and last week (end of November) one of the new tyres burst during cycling. When I took it back, I was told that the brake pad had worn down so much that the edges formed a blade and cut the tyre. And as the service was 'such a long time ago' (all of 5 months) it was my own fault for not checking the brakes. Impossible that perfectly good brake pads (according to Cycle Tech) wore so much from cycling a couple of times a week to the station (journey about 1.5 miles). I certainly can not recommend that kind of service.
