Bought a usb Ethernet adapter from Wrexham branch. Got home, not compatible with work PC. Took back within 2 hrs, told as I had plugged it in to test it, I can’t have a refund, only gift card!nnRefused to back down. I simply took it back with the receipt and will go to another branch next week.nnIt was double the price I could get on Amazon, with a no quibble return policy, but I only bought as I needed it urgently that morning.nnYou wonder why shops like this are going extinct!

I like to see what I'm buying before parting with large sums of money. Prices are usually competitive but check online before you actually pay to take advantage of price match offer. They find excuses once you've paid.
I took my elderly mother who was looking for a lightweight vacuum cleaner. Demonstration units didn't have batteries fitted, so it was difficult to tell how they would feel IRL. Staff were 'not allowed' to open a box to fit one temporarily.nSales staff are willing to be helpful, but don't know much about the products. Disappointing tbh.
A lovely lady called Adell served us today she was helpfully and realy took time to listen to are problem then took time to sort it out she is a credit to the Wrexham store I do hope her manager sees this and takes notice that credit where it's due she would run rings around the chester store it's the Wrexham store for me from now on
