A splendid shop. Not only do they have an unreasonably large selection of stuff, but they are well-informed which often, I am not and helpful. On one occasion I was trying to fix a door lock, but the part was only obtainable as part of a £35 replacement. One of the staff said he though he could fix the part which was a problem which he did - using a vice and a hammer! He then refused any payment. Strongly recommended.
Going to Cummins will solve 99% of your diy issues! They usually have the right kit and give great advice on what you’ll need. Because you can buy in small quantities it will be cheaper than a big chain. Quicker too. Prices are also reasonable I enjoy shopping there
Great hardware shop, of the 'old school' Try them first, rather than last! They have a large variety of good quality stock, good advice offered, and many unusual items. which you simply do not see in the larger 'so called' hardware DIY places. This ranges from glues, paints ropes, fittings of all sorts, tools, cleaning products, sold singly often, rather than in bulk packs, and all this in a small store, with good and informative staff on hand to advise where needed.
A great local shop. Have a very large selection of products. I bought some fluorescent tubes there which were well priced, especially compared to places like B&Q, but maybe more expensive than online, but being local saved on delivery costs.
Cummins is the kind of ‘old school’ hardware shop that every town needs. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable, and you can buy one nut and bolt if that’s all you want. My favourite shop in Dorking.
Phantastic local store in central location. Always have exactly what I need. They even had an unusual electric fuse I couldn't get in any of the local DIY or other hardware stores. Staff is very helpful. I'm glad this kind of store still exists.
I’m all for supporting local businesses but I find that everything I look at here is overpriced. Seen the Little Britain ‘Computer says no’ sketch? That’s what the customer service is like here, too. I don’t find the staff helpful and indeed, they behave as if they are doing me a favour. Will only go back here if forced to.
An Aladdin's cave with an extraordinarily wide range of hardware, ironmongery, paint, tools and other DIY & gardening items. Helpful and knowledgeable staff and easy parking AND the best-priced Calor gas in the area.
This is a brilliant shop and exactly what the high street needs. Quality, choice, value for money and brilliant, reliable, accurate advice. Better than Amazon by a long shot
