Never used cruise parking before but it's been recommended by several people. As it happened both my partner and I were away for the weekend before our cruise and therefore had no option except to drive to the terminal. We turned up earlier than expected (due to us travelling a route that we hadn't done before and allowed plenty of time) but this wasn't an issue as we just joined a queue of cars that were already waiting to be offloaded. Once in the queue we made sure that we sorted out our passports etc. After about 20 minutes of waiting we were called to drive and offload immediately outside the ferry loading/unloading area. We emptied whatever we required from our car and handed over our keys. I was given a small card with a QE Barcode on it and was advised that I would need to keep it safe, as this card will be used to retrieve my car post cruise. Once our cruise had finished and after we walked through customs, it was easy to locate someone from CPS (they were stood there holding a card with CPS on it) and they directed me to walk about 150 metres from the cruise terminal to a small hut where I handed over my card to retrieve my car keys. We were instructed to walk to B2, which is about 350 metres from the hut. Even though our cases had wheels on them, my recommendation would be to use a trolley from the ferry terminal. I would have given CPS 5 stars but it felt like once you had your car keys handed back to you then it felt like a free for all and there was a bit of a battle to get out of the car park. It’s a shame that CPS don’t help to control or divert traffic from their car parks. No one explained to me that once you manage to navigate your way to the exit of the car park that you also have to battle with other traffic as it leaves the ferry terminal too and it’s best not to be too patient to edge out into main traffic; otherwise you won’t get out.

We booked back to back cruises from Southampton on different ships ( different terminals), when we arrived at cruise parking they queried the fact that our return date differed from the cruise finish, when we explained that we were on a second cruise which meant the car was staying a bit longer, they could not have been more helpful, they offered to pick us up from the first cruise (Mayflower terminal), took us back to the car so we could drop some clothing and gifts off, then they drove us over to the Ocean terminal, (just us, no one else was going there). They were absolutely brilliant every step of the way, very friendly, very helpful and extremely good value for money. We will always use Cuise Parking in the future. Thanks for everything.
