Had a lunchtime meal , the next day an evening meal . A very welcoming pub with enthusiastic young staff. The food is very good and the Pedigree beer superb. Would certainly recommend a visit when in the area. Gary & Julie

Great pub food in a relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend booking as usually busy. Carvery is superb and staff all very friendly & obliging

Worst meal I 've had in a long time, arrived without booking a table and was told there was a table for three available, wished they had said non available. Sat in the middle of restaurant opposite carvey hatch , food all over the floor and shelf of hatch. When food arrived chicken burger had one breast burnt to a crisp and the other was undercooked, coleslaw tasted like cleaning spray had been sprayed on it, chip were clearly reheated stuck together in a lump and the bucket they came in, would of feed a family of six far to many. Whilst we attempted to eat some of the food, furniture was being dragged and carried over and around us. VERY VERY Annoying. Was glad to pay and leave , never going here again which is a shame because we have been lots of time before and have always been pleased.

Great value good quality food. Try the home made pies on Pie Tuesday! Staff are friendly and always happy to serve.

Been to this pub a few times now since moving to Measham but hadn't been back for about a year until recently. The service and food have improved since my last visit and I would be happy to go again. A nice country pub for a simple, decently priced meal and drinks.
