Another Fantastic meal at The Halfway House. We go for lunch every Saturday and usually once during the week. Trying out the new Sunday lunch tomorrow. Already had the three course Valentine's meal this week and booked for Mother's day today! Staff are wonderful. Keep up the good work.

Really nice old fashioned pub with more upmarket restaurant area. We had lunch in the bar and the menu was really good. Decent vegetarian options too. Service was extremely good. Will be going back.

It has a great and friendly bunch of locals and the food is superb. Lots of charitable events catered for. Swing by, you'll not be disappointed.

Fantastic local pub with excellent food and real ales. Always an excellent atmosphere inside frequented by locals and visitors to the area. It comes highly recommended.

Best lunch I've had on this UK trip. Awesome low roofed, exposed timber pub. Excellent food quality and great choice. I had Black and Blue (refers to pepper and cheese sauce) Chicken Strips with potatoes and salad. The gammon and the ploughmans also looked terrific. Staff are all very friendly and prices are very reasonable. I recommend this place for lunch.
