Always a pleasure to go into the Crew Store in Southwold. Excellent service from all the staff,especially the Manager Ashlea and Stephie. Always very tidy and well layed out. Choice and quality is consistent.
Selection of clothing for kids limited but found what we were looking for. Lady working there was very friendly.
After visiting this store while on holiday in Southwold & trying to make a purchase, on some articles of clothing we liked, We found the store manager very rude and not very approachable as seemed more interested playing games on her phone , After standing and waiting to get her attention for 10 minutes we put back items back & left and would not recommend buying anything from this store
The service from the southwold shop in my experience was very disappointing, definitely not service with a smile. I felt like I was a nuisance as I needed to try items on which seemed to annoy the shop assistants, One lady who I think may be the manager made it quite clear she did not want me removing items from the shelf. My wife & I felt very uncomfortable in the shop which definitely lacked any charisma! Although the staff cheered up slightly when I spent £170.00 and acted almost surprised by my purchase which really just confirmed my suspicions that they must have thought I was a time waster? But I do feel that it is unrealistic to expect anyone to buy something without trying it on first.. and at the end of the day it is a ‘shop’ whereby without any customers they would go out of business, so I do think the staff in southwold need to rethink their approach to ‘customers’ and try and be less intimidating! I went along to Cuba sails for more shopping just after whereby the assistant in there could not have been any more helpful and obliging and I felt much more relaxed. My overall experience of crew in southwold was disappointing to say the least.
