The Courthouse is the best pub in Caerphilly!

We have a great value menu, fantastic people in terms of Team and Guests, and we are the home of The 32oz Big Lad Burger!

The Courthouse is the place to be right through the week into the weekend.
Our menu is a great mix of value deals including 2 for £9 main meals, right up to family feasts and sharers.
Even better enjoyed in our great beer garden with the best view of Caerphilly Castle.

Into the weekend, we offer the best entertainment right through until monday morning!!
Our resident DJ plays Friday and Saturday Night 9pm until late and we round it off with Big Screen Karaoke unlike anything else around Caerphilly!

Such a beautiful pub with a beautiful view of Caerphilly Castle from the garden. I love the courtyard which seems to draw you in and know of otherworldly things like dragons, spells and magic. We enjoyed a lovely cup of frothy coffee and a delicious slice of cake before catching the train back to Cardiff. What a pleasant young lady behind the bar despite it being busy. You can’t buy attitude like that.
Excellent food, great ambience and friendly staff at The Court House pub. I had sausage and mash - super tasty and perfectly cooked. The pub also has an awesome view of Caerphilly Castle, definitely worth a visit.
Unbelievable views of the castle. Fabulous food at a great price. Highly recommend the half roast chicken and the steak and ale pie!

Hands down one of the best beer gardens in wales if not the UK. The staff are friendly and serve a good pint, what more could you want. My apologies edited to 5 stars.
We werent really hungry, but felt like having something and on the way to Caerphilly castle we noticet the little alley to Court House. There was this nice wishing well and as we went in we realized the castle is just on the other side and we can enjoy some food while enjoying the great view. We had roasted tomato soop and chicken wings, coffee and my gin with coke. Food was great and its tidy and we felt welcome. Thank you!
Been here twice, lovely food each time. Hands down the best beer garden I've ever been in, with a stunning view of the castle. Staff always friendly and willing to recommend dishes to try. Good options for Vegans!! Hope to pop back in soon
Great friendly pub, good choice of food & drinks, lovely beer garden overlooking the castle. Dogs allowed inside too.
Quality pub food; hot and fresh even on a really busy day. Great location, wide selections of gins.
Nice view, sat outside. Staff didn’t look friendly. Was told the wait for food was 1 hour even though there were only a few tables seated waiting for food. The fries were on the burger menu as Rosemary fries with Korean bbq sauce with Katsu burger but it was plain fries and the same bbq sauce as the other burger meal, which was disappointing. The burger was ok though.
