Had an evening meal here, was fairly decent to be honest. I will go again
Rooms amongst the worst you could find. Reasonable food, cheap beer, nice staff. Really needs some money spent on the rooms. Broken items, curtain rail hanging off, emergency lighting in communal ares not functioning, mattress not fit for a dog, I could go on but you get the idea. This is what happens in a once great building when owners neglect their responsibilities. Stay somewhere else if you can but enjoy your meal and beer there.
Atmosphere welcoming and friendly and staff helpful but toilet facilities not brill. We were in the front function room and both nearest toilets were out of action. One was the disabled and baby changing unit. I would not have wanted to change my baby in there x
Popped in for a quick pint, big and roomy inside. The locals were there, no problem parking.
It's Like living in a prison cell. You are locked in after 8pm, ordered foot takes ages to arrive and the constant banging of doors through the night is horrific. Cleanliness is NOT a priority in this place.
