Assistant manager stinks of arrogance and does not appear to know the details of his business. Employees’ ability to covertly watch ‘suspicious’ potential customers is obnoxious at least and insulting at best. It is evident the majority of employees have no interest in any mountaineering forté and I suggest ‘Cotswold Outdoor’ is for those who prefer hill fashion as opposed to those who genuinely appreciate the outdoors.
Nice spacious, clean store. Quite pricy but then most mid/top range outdoor gear is. Been here a few times & never been approached by a member of staffwhich is fine by me, not sure if this is by design or just the way things have changed in retail & society over the years.
Good selection of quality outdoor clothing, shop well laid out making types of clothing and brands easy to find, helpful but non pushy staff , great shop
There was a lady and two young men there when I visited today, the lady was helpful and asked if I need any assistance but the two young men watched whilst I tried to gain entry to the changing rooms but they were too busy in their conversation to unlock one of them for me. The shop wasn't too busy today and they lost a sale of an expensive pair of trousers because of the lazy staff.
Always lots of stuff that other shops don't stock
Rubbish product not very helpful with my complaint if it was up to me you would have go zero.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff, especially the very pleasent young female who, like me enjoys the Fjallraven brand. We discussed Fjallraven Abisko shorts for some time. She's great and has the perfect balance between providing a professional service to you and leaving you alone to decide on your preference.
Always walked past here but never been inside. It's a shame really as their collection is incredible! Lots of different brands to choose from and some decent items on the sales rack too
I visited the Cotswold store in Liverpool city centre today. I last went about 6 weeks ago to find that both the escalator and lift were broken. This meant that a member of my party could not access the store due to the large number of stairs. At the time I complained both to the staff in store and emailed the head office. What was the point? When I visited today the escalator and lift were still not working. This seems to be a company that seemingly does not recognise its obligations regarding disabled access or does not care. As we were leaving I observed with sadness another party having the same problem. Really not good enough.
