This superstore looked quite new and tidy, although there are a large variety of groceries. Different entry hours for different members ca manage better people stream, thus we felt comfortable to walk around there. If the food court has advanced entry hour, waiting consumers would be able enjoy F&B before the store entry hour.
Good place for bulk buying. Fuel is always the cheapest around too, and you can’t beat a hotdog with free refills of pop for £1.50! Staff are always very helpful too.
Done a few visits now but personally I feel that the pricing on the majority of normal day to day products are not as discounted as one may think. There's way too much that you could get cheaper than FROM Costco from your regular supermarkets to be honest. I actually wonder what margins retailers even make on their purchases. It's OK for a bulk buy on washing up detergents and cakes but rest of it seems pricey. An honest review and a personal review as I'm still a member but more likely won't renew when it comes round.
Great for bulk buying and when you want to find something a little bit different. Some things are cheaper elsewhere. Love the free samples and some of the offers are really good. Massive queues for fuel but worth it at those prices.
Lots of choice. Staff are relatively friendly, besides the jobsworth on the door. Dates on some free food were very short the next day. Parking seems to be absolute hysteria at the moment all because fuel is slightly cheaper. Needs a bit more planning to cater for this increased demand and not hinder customers who want to shop. Overall decent store, just needs a manager with a bit of common sense to sort the parking issues.
Huge variety of stuff and most of it at great value, especially those huge cakes! Easy parking in the basement if it's full up top
Poor service. I queued up for over 30 minutes to find that there was signs on all the Diesel pumps to say no diesel. It would be helpful if they had a sign up to advise there is no fuel. Like they have handwritten signs to show which way to go for fuel.
The route in and out is woefully inadequate 45 minutes to get fuel. If it wasn't so cheap I wouldn't bother, they need to rethink the whole car parking system they have simply out grown the current set up. The store inside is like 'It's a Knock Out' with many super sized members touring the isles very much like the stock in bulk most of them wouldn't give a door a bang, so don't expect any courtesy, see what you want and just barge towards it. goods wise it's the usual bulk buy stuff some of which is lower price than most shops but some is actually more expensive, so know your prices, and choose carefully as it can be easy to overspend.
This costco is one of our favourite shops which has everything we need. The fuel is really cheap and probably the best value in town. The store itself has everything from the fresh bakery which has some fantastic baked goods including cakes, biscuits and lots of other treats. The main things we use the store for which you really can’t beat are the eggs which you get loads for dirt cheap. The toilet roll which really any other doesn’t come close and the bin bags again you can’t get better. The frozen isle is great and some really good selection of meet. Plenty of choice and you can spend a long time in the store. Finally the restaurant in here is totally out of this world and you won’t get better, great taste and really good value
Other than bottled water and fuel this shop is more expensive than your average supermarket. Unpleasant staff that make you feel like a thief checking your receipt after you pay and try to exit store. Will never renew my membership with them
