COUNTER AT MEMBERSHIP!!nI got served by a very generous man called Brain ,nhe’s very lovely and understandable staff member.nHe helped me on the renewal process and explained for us what we needed to know. However, there was two ladies one of them called Nadine and the other was wearing a black glasses and had the messy bun hairstyle. Me and me dad absolutely did not like how she spoke to us in an unmannered way and told us that she will go and help others while we decide our mind!! We were first in the line where she tried to avoid us, staff members should be nice to customers and help them no matter what that was absolutely ridiculous Costco!!!!nnA great store with everything from fresh fruit and veg to flat screen TVs to garden sheds. The quality is always excellent so even if you might find something similar for a cheaper price I doubt it'll be of the same standard. The food in the food court is cheap and cheerful. The pizzas are absolutely huge too .nnThey also have a men's and women's washroom, very clean
I experienced very poor customer service from some of the staff members at the till. A few items were on offer and displayed on the shelves, but when we checked out, they rang up at full price. When I informed the cashier about this, she rudely said, “Can you go and get the picture?” I explained that we had spent time shopping and waiting in line, and now they were asking us to go find proof of the advertised prices. I don’t understand what kind of customer service this is. If the pricing process has changed, it should be updated in the system, and staff should handle these discrepancies, not the customers.nnMoreover, the management tried to justify this behavior, which I find unacceptable. I have encountered incorrect pricing numerous times, and this experience has shown a level of disrespect that is not typical of other supermarkets or stores.
Lovely and quiet. No queues at the till. Plenty of parking. No queues for food either. And petrol was so cheap today too.
Costco Liverpool. For the normal warehouse shopping Costco Liverpool is fine, however the baker section AVOID. Ordered a celebration cake for my husbands birthday and received the confirmation email confirming the order and when to collect. Went to collect - and there was no cake. Spoke to an older woman from the bakery section who had a couldn’t care less attitude. Showed her the confirmation email and she insisted on taking my phone off me and getting icing over the screen as she didn’t wipe her fingers first. She then asked me if I was looking under the right name !?! even though I had ordered it so obviously I would have the right name and my email confirmed the details. She then said they could “possibly” ice another cake albeit it would be in the wrong flavours and I would need to come back and speak to a manager first who wouldn’t be available for at least another half hour. No apology at all was offered and the dismissive couldn’t give a toss attitude was appalling. This is the 3rd time a cake from Costco Liverpool has been ordered and the 3rd time there has been a problem. Never again.
ACTUALLY PLEASANT!nMost of the Costco's in this country are painful to shop at, especially the one up the road in Haydock which I hate!.nCar parking is a nightmare, long queues for everything & terrible customer service.nBut the one here at Liverpool Waterloo Road doesn't have any of those problems.nnWhen I went; the car park was easy to get in and out of. The queues to get in were non-existent and the wait to buy food and shopping were very short. The staff were very professional and helpful, there's even a dedicated cleaner at the café area, which is something you don't see everyday.nnThis is a pleasant surprise and it makes a massive difference to the overall shopping experience. Maybe I came on a quiet day, who knows?nnBut overall, 5 stars for Costco Liverpool!
