Disappointing experience, Malton Costa. Probably short staffed. could see (four) 12.30ish, not especially busy but the floors were dirty with food and piled up on three empty tables was in cleared pots etc. One customer walked out, deciding against it. Not cheap to be surrounded by a dirty kitchen ambience.

Typical chain Costa, lost initial great ambience with a stereotypical decor update which hasn't worked in this market town. Food festival today and surprise, surprise paper cups as dishwasher broken - same thing last two festivals. Too few good staff, just young girls with no clue how to deliver and clear away in the same sweep of the areas. Coffee OK, food needed replenishing. Some stock missing. Left feeling meh! 😕
