Cafe le Raj is an absolute winner. The GF and i had nothing but good service and even better food. Missing South Africa felt like a distant dream after sinking our teeth into the soft flavourful lamb curry. We felt like right real tourists taking pictures of our meal but only so we could boast that cafe le raj is within walking distance of our home.

The food was good but the service was poor. There were only 3 tables but the waiter was more interested in his phone than service
Good service and fair pricing. Ate a very hot chilli by accident, so needed two pints to knumb the heat.
Fantastic food, wonderful service and great hospitality . One of the most outstanding Indian restaurants in Henley. Value for money and the quality is superb! Staff were great and tailored the order to our requirements . I had a chicken Zala and the other half had a tandoori sea bass. To sum up this restaurant in one word - exquisite!
Ate here for the regatta. Within 12 hours I have horrendous food poisoning, and so does my partner. I have reported to the local council and asked them to do a much needed hygiene inspection to save others the same experience. Finally, was disappointed to find that once seated, we were only allowed to order from a ‘regatta menu’ that was no different to the menu advertised outside save for the additional few £s added to dishes….
Did take away for 6. Over ordered but food was distinctly average.Food: 3/5
Tasty meal, great value for money ! Friendly staff
Walked here after Giggling Squid had failed miserably at accommodating us. They found us a table, gave us drinks and poppadoms immediately and we then ordered our main course. The food was so tasty, I'll definitely go back. The staff were very helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
