Just wasted 2hrs in Holywood this morning 15th july 2024, trying to get PDO threads with Mr Ged Smith. Had a consultation 17th June with photos etc. Booked in for today over 2wks ago for 1130. Apparently I should have had a pre appt for numbing, so was taken by nurse to another room to have the cream applied and sign consent. Left at 1150. At 1303 I went to see if anyone was about, which there wasn't, but a man had just entered Mr Smith's room, so I knocked, entered and enquired when I would be seen. Mr Smith did not speak, but nurse came and ushered me out, telling me it was not their fault and he was fitting me in around his appts and I would be called in 10mins. At 1315 I left. I came at my appt time, I was not at fault so although, he was not at fault cosmetech was. I have an email, a txt msg and received a phone call all confirming my appt and that I'd be there. Not once did a pre appt get mentioned. £1500 for threads may be insignificant for you but for me it is and as such I expect to be treated like a valued client not a casual walk in.
On arrival to the Maypole clinic I was made to feel very welcoming in this 21st century cutting edge facility. The friendly stress free service was very professional. After the initial consultation I got to meet the rest of the team who explained in great detail the whole procedure. I would highly recommend the Maypole clinic the first and only one of its kind here in the North of Ireland.
I was extremely impressed with Cosmetech. They're definitely leaders in their field. The staff are fantastic and they have an amazing range of treatments. Their surgeons, doctors and therapists are second to none. As an extremely busy Mum and freelancer in my 30s I often have limited sleep and my beauty routine is not what it should be ok, it’s completely rubbish I wanted to try and restore a bit of smoothness and plumpness to my skin so recently opted for micro-needling. I can honestly say it’s pretty amazing. My skin looked smoother and fresher. It also looked brighter as well as firmer and I believe my pores even shrank too. Result!
They took my money for a consultation and did nothing … I mean literally 2 mins and 177 euro from me… I wanted to run out , but this just shows how money hungry they are!!! I’ll never go back and I suggest you don’t either

I attended yesterday with andrew moorehead and from the minute I walked in i was made to feel relaxed and at ease andrew is so lovely and fab at his job, we had a few laughs during the procedure and this really helped settle me, his surgical assistant was lovely too. The ladies on reception couldn't have been more friendly and the whole place was spotless and bright. I would suggest here to anyone
