Having visited Seaton Cliffs also with worth a visit we saw the Old Boatyard and popped in for a meal. What a treat! A lovely restaurant with great decor and atmosphere and a spectacular view. We both enjoyed the paella, a tasty mix of seafood bits and bobs - very enjoyable.nWe will certainly be back - there are at least three other dishes I want to try!
We enjoyed our meal at The Old Boatyard Restaurant in Arbroath. The food was delicious, and the location is fantastic. However, as the restaurant got busier, the staff seemed a bit stressed, which made the service less friendly. This is understandable, but it did affect our experience slightly. Overall, though, the food, location, and service were excellent.
We absolutely loved this place, fantastic family run restaurant with delicious food.nCan absolutely recommend the Bloody Mary with the meatiest oyster I’ve ever eaten; and the monkfish was divine!nThe atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, but with very professional staff, who are very attentive and caring.nThanks so much for a very enjoyable evening, our waitress is one of the owners daughters, and I have to say she is a credit to your lovely family.
Stopped in for a pint after a day on the bike. Sat out back on the terrace which was a great sun trap. Staff were super friendly and very helpful, atmosphere inside seemed great as we passed through. Looking forward to returning one day for food.
Three of us 2 local Dundee and a friend from Surrey. Wonderful meals. We all has something different. Mine was salmon with gnocchi and veg and lovely light tasty sauce. The other 2 were also pleased with theirs. The service was excellent and friendly. We'll worth the trip from dundee
