Not a lot open on a nice day plenty of dog walkers.fair not open yet but lots of people about wanting to spend money. On what? Nothing open to spend it on. Caravans lovely clean sure. Went to globe for lunch. Very good

Ah the great British seaside funfair! Fighting against progress to its last, nicotine and beer scented breath. 1970s fun and frolics, Kiss Me Quick hats, loud, ear-torturing pop music and diabetes on a stick, in a floss or in suggestive shapes. I’ll never understand the enduring appeal. It would make a good location for an unimaginative Hollywood horror movie I guess. Something about clowns probably . The beach is lovely though. A vast expanse of sand. Beautiful when clean. But at peak summer months the amount of filth left behind by some visitors is massive and disgusting. Not a big fan of the donkey rides either. Donkeys are great, but it can’t be much of a life for them hauling semi naked holidaymakers up and down the same bit of beach day after day. But as a whole the beach is tremendous, some of the stalls on the front are pretty good and the bathing is excellent. Hell, you can even get some good surfing if Rest Bay feels a bit intimidating.

Perfect 4 a fun few hours out with the kids.... Right by the beach... Plenty of places 2 eat and drink near by. Also a lovely walk across the sea front if fancy

Good sandy beach, good car parking and nice views. The funfair has a decent selection of rides for toddlers and older children.

Nice few hours out down there nice fish and chips in beales walked around the town a little cold but didn't stop my daughter enjoying the rides in the fair
