Brilliant campsite, friendly staff. Great for kids, nice play area in the middle of the site.nClean toilet facilities, all necessary amenities.nStaff went out of their way to help us jump start our car when the battery died overnight which was a lifesaver! Look forward to coming back in the future.
Great little campsite away from the hustle of the Porthcawl seaside but just 5 minutes drive away if wanted. Three generations of my family have been using it for decades, it's clean and tidy with friendly owners.
Nice place with huge pitches 105. Went midweek for a few nights and was quiet. 10 minutes to Nottage with a few pubs or about half an hour into Porthcawl by foot.
We had a lovely weekend and will definitely return.nI would book large pitch for comfort and definitely more room. The small pitches are very snug great if you are a basic camper with just a small tentnWe have a large 4 man tent so we new it was going to be a squeeze but that was my fault for booking a small pitch. I wasn't aware as it stated small pitch and electric hookup ect that when we got there we had to pay for electric on top. But saying that it wasn't a worry we had a fridge all day and heater on all night with charges of phones and iPads we cooked with gas tho we spent £25 from Friday to 5pm Monday. It was great that we asked and had the option to check out late with a small fee but it was well worth it for another day on site. It was a very safe lovely site my kids were never innThere is a small arcades room but not where you will spend ££££ it's all cheap machines my kids loved it. The bar is beautiful nice little touch to the place if I'm honest and one night we had a singer and the Easter bunny paid a visit such a family orientated site we had no issues at all on the weekend and staff came around to check we was ok and if we needed help or needed anything. I liked the touch of different food vans over the weekend for breakfast and then another for the evening. The toilets/ shower rooms are decent to be fair always kept clean and tidy. We will definitely come back to this site without a doubt. the workers and owners are very welcoming and happy to help. There are lovely walks close by to get to the beach.nThank you for a great weekend
Had a week away, the first time towing a van. We arrived later than planned, though. We were met by Bob, the warden, and he was very helpful and friendly, which was appreciated after our long journey. He even gave us some milk so we could have a coffee, as the shop was closed.nThe site was quiet and peaceful, but got busy the weekend as you would imagine, given the great weather.nVery close to the town, and amenities.nThe rest of the staff were lovely too, the manager opened the shop for us, so we could pick up supplies.nWould definitely recommend staying here, and will return. Great base for exploring south Wales.nMany thanks, James and mum.
