Great place for some bargains has loads of low price groceries from big chain stores at a lower price than at the retailer. Entry is only for people who are members and membership isn't available to everyone, check website , but if you are accepted it's great loads of savings to be had. Look out for posts on the Facebook group keeping you updated with the latest bargains
Great place to grab a bargain although seems like its full all the time now. Appears that everyone can get a card and its not as exclusive as it used to be. The prices for some of the stuff is extremely good though but its bound to be due to the short use by / best before dates. Having said that, always a good shop here and can get a lot of good quality fish, desserts and food for a lot cheaper than retail.
I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone who qualifies for a membership card. The staff are always so helpful even during the busier times & I can’t praise them enough! Lots of stock always available at decent prices & if you are looking for something in particular, I always ask a member of staff who usually go out of their way to find out if what you are looking for is available instead of just saying that what they have is out on the shop floor like most places do. Big shout out to Ryan who kindly saved me an item to go back & collect as what I was looking for was in the warehouse being unboxed & I couldn’t wait around at that time so he kindly arranged for me to pick up the item the following day. So glad I discovered this little gem
Brilliant. Most things are rock bottom price, but do pay attention! Bit hit and miss what they have as it's donated/near date by other shops. I go once a month ish, bulk buy and fill freezer, never gone over £150 for a full large trolley! Can't go wrong, but it is a shop for a select group of people and you apply for a 'permit card' to be able to shop here, so check website for eligibility.
Good range of food, cheaper than supermarkets, although you might not get everything you want and some items are short dated. Definitely worth a look though. Great staff too
Sells short dated ltems at good prices.
You can get some bargains on the meat section but otherwise prices are getting very high given a lot of products are at the end of their shelf life. Often there is little difference between the prices here and mainstream supermarkets. I'd say its now better to go to Aldi or Lidl where equivalent and longer dated products are often cheaper.
What a joke this place has become. We used to enjoy going as a family even though its 45 minutes to drive there. A lot of the food these days is the EXACT SAME as the recommended retail price..but you get a shorter date. Sure this creating more waste because nobody in their right mind will biy it. We used to spend £150 here and fill our house and could give some bargains to family, sadly those days are gone. We've only been a couple of times this years as we noticed the GREED creeping in just before Vovid hit so they can't blame things on that. It's pure greed make no mistake. I'm personally talking about the Tankersley one and Middleton. I'm sure they're all the same. Shame.
Apologies in advance but this is an honest review..... Quite shocked at how s h i t e this is. I've seen better organised cash n carry's. Majority staff group together like the CSMaffia and block aisle, whilst working folk can't keep up and if they don't get you, the prices will. Not much difference between big stores. Save your fuel and spend that money towards quality goods.
I would recommend this shop to anybody who qualifies to get a card. Great selection of fresh / frozen foods all for great affordable prices. Good place to grab a bargain.
