What amazing value for money. £2 on a Monday evening. Such a lovely old fashioned cinema. I find the seats comfy and staff really friendly. The only down side is the flight of stairs so people with mobility difficulties would not be able to visit.
Enjoyed our visit to Leo leasure , we visited the cinema within. Nice little cinema, only 2 screens but had a good selection of films on throughout the day. It only cost us £20 for 5 of us to go in. We took children with us and there sweet selection did not disappoint. The food that wasent sweets was a bit limited but still OK. Only real criticism was, is that the whole place had a very old fashion feel about it and could possibly to with a make over.
Fantastic little find on holiday, proper old fashioned cinema, comfy chairs, friendly staff and great atmosphere. £4 a ticket and all new releases shown, £2 a ticket all day Monday.....absolute bargain. Lots of sweets, snacks and drinks available if not the craft bar and cafe next door is well worth a visit too.
I had to check if the ticket prices were correct today as they only charged me £2 Saw the new George Clooney release and it was a lovely experience in very comfortable seating. Makes a change to have such an old independent vendor and not the plastic overpriced chains. For anyone on a budget and want a no frills value for money time this is the place. Oh and there is a bingo hall next door
It’s just a brilliant place to go back in time, being in my early 20’s this is like a whole new world for me in a way. it’s just a good, old fashioned cinema and really gives you a glimpse of what it used to be like! Love it and the £4 ticket is quite a bargain!
Always looks clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The screen auditorium a bit small and seats a little uncomfy, but cant complaint as prices are very good. The sound and picture are of very high quality.
Amazing prices! Friendly, welcoming and polite staff. Comfy seats. Some seats were torn but still usable and comfy. There was a leak that needed seeing to but overall really is a lovely experience and would be a shame to loose this cinema. I prefer this to cineworld IOW for price, comfort, friendliness and variety of films for different age groups for example cineworld currently in december only showing one film- commodore have over 5. Wish I'd used this cinema sooner.
Always fun to go to a traditional cinema. Same film for half the price as other cinemas. This time of year, layer up, and take a blanket as they are having problems with the heating
A great little cinema. Haven't been here for near on 20 years, but my first trip back was great. Nice to not have to wait in queues for tickets : it wasn't perfect, the screen was smaller than I remembered and the surround sound didn't appear to be working. However this didn't detract from the enjoyment of the movie in anyway, so a solid 4 star trip for me. Will definitely come again
Fab Cinema with a sprinkle of a classic Golden age of cinema. They normaly have 3 screens open, showing 3-6 different films per day. Very good value for money as the tickets, sweets and drinks are around half the price of the multinationals too !!
