Really cool spot near King’s Cross with a great mix of restaurants, bars, and boutique shops. The old industrial buildings have been beautifully done up, and the whole place has a relaxed, trendy vibe.nnPerfect for a weekend stroll, grabbing coffee, or dinner with friends. It’s lively in the evenings but never too crowded, and there’s always something going on — markets, art pop-ups, or live music.nnSuper close to the station, so easy to get to.
This place is beautiful, and makes great use of historical buildings and local canals. There are a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops for all ranges but it's best to visit on a weekend as there are more street food stalls and the atmosphere is better. It's a short walk from kings cross and most areas are accessible. You can walk along the canal to get to London zoo or Camden market. There is also a small nature reserve close by, which has a very peaceful atmosphere and is great for kids.
Very clean and extra convenient. Close to King's Cross/St Pancras, along Regent's Canal. The water fountain in Granary Square just next to it were perfect to cool down on a hot summer day. Four stops away from Camden Station.
This place appears to be an excellent example of a good ’re-generation’ project. Just up from Kings Cross and St Pancras, they have repurposed the old coal yard and canal into a great public space. The old buildings have been restored well and the new architecture integrates well. Every time I have walked through the area has been perfectly clean and packed with people enjoying the city. There is plenty of space to sit down and enjoy a coffee, either along the canal embankments or in the courtyards. If it is sunny the water fountain is usually on for children to play in whilst parents can sit under the trees.nnWhilst areas can often be gentrified, this place feels inclusive of everyone, is always packed, and offers a great place to spend an hour or two for free
This place gave us every emotion in one visit. We walked along a beautiful canal to reach it, found a Coldplay pop up merchandise store with a long queue, and then chose to wander around instead. The design of the shops is striking with amazing angles for photos. To complete the experience we even had London’s classic sudden rain which somehow made it feel even more authentic. A memorable stop
